The 1MM Library and Islamic Research Center of Western Pennsylvania is a non-profit initiative under the direct supervision of Moosaa Richardson, in cooperation with the administration and community of Al-Masjid al-Awwal (the First Muslim Mosque) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

We thank Allaah for the generous support from all the friends and supporters of the 1MM Library all over the world. So far, together, by the Permission of Allaah alone, we have been able to pay off 2.5 years of storage and administrative fees needed throughout our attempts to ship the library by sea. Shipping, clearing, and local delivery fees have been 100% collected as well, wal-hamdulillaah. The library has arrived in America, and we now begin our local preparations in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to receive and set it up at the masjid, in shaa’ Allaah.

• Air shipping, Riyadh to Pittsburgh (plus storage & related costs) – $13,402 Urgently needed (100% collected) 
• Estimated clearing & transportation expenses locally in Pittsburgh – $950 Urgently needed (100% collected)
• Renovation of areas of the First Muslim Mosque – TBA
• Bookshelves, furniture and office supplies – TBA
• Monthly salary for a steady part-time volunteer librarian – $1,000 ($12,000/yr)
• Monthly purchase allowance for new books – $500 ($6,000/yr)
