Library and Research Center of Western Pennsylvania, Supervised by Moosaa Richardson
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Ever Merciful…
We thank Allaah, the Blessed and Most High, that our precious library has been kept safe and sound while some difficult procedures have been worked out. As this treasure of Islamic heritage finally ships out to the West, we beg our Majestic Lord for ease and safety.
As you know, the massive, eight-ton library (may Allaah bless it) heading towards al-Masjid al-Awwal in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was carefully pieced together by Moosaa Richardson over his 16 years of study in Saudi Arabia. It is set to be the foundation and highlight of an amazing resource for students of Islamic Knowledge in the United States, a new Research Center in Western Pennsylvania, in shaa’ Allaah!
And, al-hamdulillaah, we have managed to make some progress and finally get the library moving. It has not been easy, yet Allaah has facilitated its movement, and all praise and thanks are due to Him!
Those interested in helping with some of the various costs of shipping and maintenance can contact the administration of al-Masjid al-Awwal in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. May Allaah bless you and facilitate what is most beneficial.
